The vast majority of our projects are financed by private donations and industry supported projects. Public finances are not able currently to support clinical studies on the introduction of novel medications for ALS. Against this background, every donation is needed urgently and is very welcome. We have set up a donations account at the Charité which has obtained not for profit status which entitles the donor to a receipt (confirmation of a donation in the meaning of §10b of the income tax act).

Confirmation of the payment as a tax deductible donation is made by the Corporation Tax Office III in 12099 Berlin, which recognises donations to the Charité for non profit purposes. The donation receipt is sent by post and may take several weeks after your donation has been credited to our account.
